Project Name
User id is a name that is used to associate the user profile with a user when a user signs on to QBM. User id is used when you are Logging into the QBM. The user id must be associated with at least one group in order for the user to be able to access the system.
You create a new user from the user list and set its password as well.
To create a new user:
On the Company menu, point to User Tasks, and then select User List
Click on the New button to show login dialog
Enter the user name, and a password
Enter other optional information, such as the employee, and location
Click Save & Done or Save & New
Assigning a group to the user
Open the specific user
Click on the Add Group
Check the groups that the login is assigned to in the group list dialog and click OK
Optional Information
If you want the login to be assigned to a specific employee, select the employee from the Employee list.
If you want the login to be assigned to a specific location, select a location from the location list.
You can provide details of the login such as its e-mail, or first name and last name.
Location Permissions
If you need to limit the login to do transactions in certain locations, you can check 'Specific Locations' in this area and then uncheck the locations the group is not allowed to do any transactions.
