Print Cheques

You can print on a cheque by using this screen.  Quick Business Manager uses print templates to print on different cheques allowing you to save the settings of each cheque for different print formats.

There are two ways of setting the margins of the print format.  One is to design a print template for the cheque, which is described in Designing Print Templates help. And another way is to select the print template from the same screen and edit its margins.

After selecting the cheque print template, press Details button next to the template to open the template's detail dialog.  In the dialog, you can move the fields, such as 'Amount' or 'Cheque Date', by your mouse or change its settings. After changing all its margins and typing a name for this template, press Save & Done.

Note that you can select a cheque from a list of cheques or type cheque information.  The amount you enter is not debited or credited and thus it does not affect any account.

You can now print on the cheque by putting the specific cheque in the printer and pressing Save & Done button. In case the margins are outside the print areas, you may need to redesign the print template again.  If you have failed to print in the correct print areas using this guide, you may need to design the print template using Designing Print Templates and then select that print template from the print cheque screen.
