About refunds/credits

You can refund a customer that returns the sold items. You can refund a customer by cash in which you pay the customer the amount of cash using that transaction or you can use credit refund to make the refund as a credit.

 

Warning!

Use the refunds procedures to record a return when a customer returns items for which you have already recorded an invoice. Creating the refunds increases the inventory items and decreases the Account Receivable.

If you simply want to pay your customer an amount without receiving items use Make Withdrawal from the Banking menu and select Accounts Receivable and the Customer.
