Delete or inactivate a customer record

If you will not be doing business with a customer, you can delete the customer record, provided that you have not done any business with the customer and the customer has no financial history.

Caution   Delete with care; you cannot retrieve a deleted customer record.

If the customer record has associated transactions, you can inactivate it.

To inactivate a customer use customer list.
