Register Cheque books

Registering a cheque book lets you identify a cheque book in the system and thus the system can notify you of a wrong cheque and also you are able to pay from the registered cheque book.

 

To register a cheque book:

  1. On the Banking menu, point to Cheque Tasks, and then select Register Chequebooks

  2. Enter a name for the cheque book

  3. Select or create a bank account

  4. Select or create a bank, which is a bank that the cheque book is issued from

  5. Enter the starting number of the cheque book, for example 0001

  6. Enter the ending number of the cheque book, for example 0050

  7. Enter other optional information

  8. Press Save & Done to save and dismiss the dialog or Save & New to register another cheque book
